| We learned so many wonderful things
during our
IN-SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS
We have had many parents, aides and organizations come in this year, to share with us. This year, we have had Police Officer Friendly, Dr.Ed, the dentist, a mom who is a pilot, and Erin, who played her clarinet for us all.
COMMUNITY HELPERS
Dr. Ed, the Dentist Dr. Ed reminded us to brush ALL our teeth, even the ones at the back that are hard to reach. He encouraged us to rinse our mouth if we eat candy.

Police Officer Friendly He showed us his badges on his shirt and hat. He showed us his police radio and how the police communicate with one another. Officer Friendly reminded us not to talk to strangers.

One of our KR moms is a pilot. She brought in her flying record, flight maps, and other small instruments she uses to help her when she is flying. She let some of the children try on some of the head gear.

MUSIC APPRECIATION
Erin plays her clarinet for the children. She let them feel what it was made of, and showed them the many parts of the clarinet. It can be separated into 4 pieces.

Quiver Farm sent their Bee Keeper with live bees in a hive for us to learn about. We dressed up as bees and flowers and pollinated the flowers.
It was wonderful to watch the bees so closely, buzzing in the hive.
The treat at the end was that we got to taste the honey, fresh from the hive.

We're excited for when the Quiver Farm animals come to Heritage School.
To all our volunteers and visitors,
"Thank you for sharing what you do with us!"
