School Closings for Inclement Weather

We follow Tredyffrin Easttown School District's school closings.  Their school closing number is 854.  Radio stations such as KYW1060 announce the school closings by these numbers.  If you are concerned about a possible school closing, listen for #854.  Most local television stations run closings by the name of the school district during their morning programming and on their web sites.  Look for Tredyffrin Easttown School District.

T/E  SCHOOLS 2 HOUR DELAY
When T/E schools have a 2 hour delay due to inclement weather, Heritage School will be closed for all morning classes. The 3 Day KR Afternoon Classes will report at noon. Kindergarten will report at noon if the 2 hour delay falls on a Tuesday or a Thursday.
School will be closed for all other afternoon programs.

T/E SCHOOLS CLOSED
If Tredyffrin/Easttown schools are closed, Heritage School will be closed.

The following policy has been established by the Heritage School Board regarding the making up of missed days due to inclement weather:

If the school misses 5 school days due to inclement weather, any further missed days will be made up by adding the following days back into the schedule:

          Easter Monday
          Two days added to the end of the year

Should there be more than 8 snow days this winter, the Heritage School Board will consider adding additional school days to the end of the school year.
